The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 is a digital single-lens camera with a rotating screen, released on July 27, 2014 by Panasonic.

The camera forgets the date and time.

It's clear that the internal battery has stopped charging from the main battery and needs to be replaced. Where is it located, what's its name? It would be nice to see instructions for replacing it somewhere. Of course, professionals don't want to share information. But maybe there's a manual somewhere written by a not-so-greedy professional? Thanks.

Hi. Thanks for your quick response. In the Netherlands, this battery costs 25 euros. If I decide to disassemble my perfectly working camera, I'll certainly take photos of each step, just to avoid making any mistakes during reassembly. I'll definitely publish a report on my attempt. The only thing that bothers me is that I'm pretty good at soldering, but there are a lot of horror stories about micro soldering online. I think I need to learn more about this area first, practice, and only then take the risk. Thanks a lot for the advice.

@tatianapetrova purchase one of the cheaper batteries. you can always desolder the solder tabs from the old battery and transplant to a new one. Should save you about 20 Euros

Thanks for the idea.

@tatianapetrova little bit of a challenge here. The back-up "button Battery B8001" is actually on the Flash PCB.

That battery is a Panasonic part number N4ECY25Y0002. It is a lithium-manganese dioxide (Li-MnO2) battery provides 3V voltage with a diameter of 24.8mm and a height of 7.2mm. Do not buy it for the Panasonic list price (highway robbery at £30). Now, how to get to it. Looks like a pretty big job (PITA) but it can be done with some patience. Anyhow use the Panasonic DMC FZ1000p SM and proceed to go to page 26 for further "instructions" Sorry but no simple guide seems to be available for this just yet.

While you work on your camera, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same issues with their device. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
