If the fingerprint isn’t working on your HP ProBook 630 G8, it’s usually a driver or setup issue. First, restart your laptop and clean the fingerprint sensor. Go to Device Manager → Biometric Devices and update or reinstall the fingerprint driver from HP’s official website. Then go to Settings → Accounts → Sign-in options and remove and re-add your fingerprint. Make sure Windows Hello is enabled and updated. Also check BIOS settings to ensure the sensor is enabled. If it still doesn’t work, the sensor may be faulty and require servicing or replacement.
