2 New screens tried both showing the same problem

2 new screens fitted both showing colured display which changes to a different colour every couple of seconds. About every 10th screen is like a test page. All screens have a blurred logo

You need to isolate the issue down a bit more. Plug in an external display to see if it shows up there. You'll need to run the system in Clam Shell mode.

Either way it points to the internal graphics having an issue. If it is the same on an external display then both internal and external (GPU) has a total problem.

@livfe - Well that's the question! Is the display or its I/O to the display the issue or is the issue deeper in the logic board. This system has a SoC! No GPU chip present and the one chip drives either.

To me it looks like the internal graphic GPU chip has failed..... Repair requires a replacement motherboard as replacing the chip only requires very special equipment which is quite costly and it is cheaper to replace the board. I very much doubt that a clean system install or booting externally into another OS will make any difference but it maybe worth a try.
