Software issues like this aren't really in iFixit's wheelhouse; they're definitely more focused on hardware repairs.
That being said, I did find a copy of the user manual for your tablet.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series X700-X800-X808-X900 User Guide
Under the Table of Contents, scroll down the the Settings section, then under that look for the Connections heading. Within that is a link for Connected Devices; click on that and it'll take you to a page describing all your options for connecting your phone to an external device.
