Don't pull — slide and rock. Battery connectors on Lenovo IdeaPads are friction-fit and often extremely tight. Use a plastic spudger or an old credit card to gently pry underneath the connector's base (not the wires). Wiggle it side to side slowly while pulling straight up — never yank by the cable. If it feels immovable, a hairdryer on low heat for 10 seconds near the connector softens any adhesive residue and eases the grip. Always disconnect in a straight vertical motion, keeping it level to avoid bending the pins on the motherboard socket.
