2008–2014 Mini Cooper Clubman

Second generation in the modern Minis made by BMW. The Clubman can be identified by its split rear doors (instead of a hatch) and additional half-door on the right-hand side of the car.

Why are my electrics failing

My entries have failed and a service light the form of a car on a jack has come on and no electric work

This might be a main power issue; battery, battery cables (corrosion), their connections and one or two main grounds (battery to chassis, chassis to engine block.

@alankay6428 the "car on a jack" is called the CBS or Condition Based Servicing similar to a Service Engine light etc. It is activated by the many sensor of which one (or more) got triggered for a fault. It is non-specific if you can't use your vehicle if "no electric work". I assume that means that nothing electrical on your Clubman is working.
