Hi, @theomatolela I gotchu.
If you have been charging the phone to 100% a lot, yes, it is pregnant and needs a urgent replacement.

@theomatolela stop using your phone and stop charging your phone. You are causing more damage to your phone by causing the battery to further expand. You may also get to the point where your battery will "vent with flame", which is the point where it ruptures and short-circuits, causing a fire. Replace the battery.
Since iFixit does not yet have a specific guides for this, use something like this video. Replacement batteries are readily available at many online stores.
If your phone has other issues then having to replace the battery, you need to be more specific with your question.
While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same issues with their phone. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.

Put the phone in something like a pot/pan with a lid, and then put that on something fire resistant like a brick in the meantime. Leave the phone on so that the battery slowly discharges.
