Just to clarify, are you wanting to wire up a plug to your car that will allow a vehicle towing it to be plugged into so the tail lights will operate along with those in the other vehicle?
If that's the case, we'd need to know the year and model of your Vauxhall in order to look up a correct set of wiring diagrams, as you'll have to tap into the existing wiring so you'll want to know what wires to connect to.
