Hi @leshiawatson94

WiFi has a maximum range of about 100 metres (300 ft) for the 2.4GHz band and about 70 metres (200 ft) for the 5GHz band. It will be less if there are obstructions in the way e.g. walls, trees etc

If you are trying to connect to your home router's WiFi network when driving around, you won't get far before losing the connection. Also being in a metal box i.e. a car, won't help either as it is a further barrier to the WiFi signal.

If you are trying to use apps such as Whatapp etc to talk then it works on mobile phone data as well, but then data usage charges will be involved. It may be easier and cheaper just to make/receive a normal call from/to the phone when necessary.
