How to fix the charging port?

@briannadelsing The Huawei Mate SE (model BND-L34) uses a Micro-USB charging port soldered to the charging board (sub board). Replacing the charging port it's easisest and best doen by replacing the charging board. Since iFixit does not yet have a guisde for that , use soemthing like this video You do not need to remove the main board. Disconnect the Battery. Then remove the two flex cables over the battery and then remove the sub board (3:30min in the video). Replacment boards are readily available at many online places.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
