A 32" Roku TV released by TCL in 2018.

Tv stucks on logo

Tv turns on by plugging it to electricity but stops on TCL logo. Could that have happened because I had unplugged it from electricity without using the remote control? And what is the solutions please?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Unplugging it from the wall without using the remote normally does not cause permanent damage. TVs are designed to handle power loss.

What you’re describing (stuck on TCL logo) is usually a software/firmware boot issue, or sometimes a failing main board.

First, try a proper power reset:

  1. Unplug the TV from the wall.
  2. Press and hold the power button on the TV itself (not the remote) for 30–60 seconds.
  3. Leave it unplugged for at least 10–15 minutes.
  4. Plug it back in and try again.

If it still stops at the logo:

Try a factory reset (button method)

On many TCL Roku models:

  • Unplug the TV
  • Press and hold the reset button (small pinhole on the back)
  • While holding it, plug the TV back in
  • Keep holding for about 20–30 seconds

If the reset works, it should go into setup mode.
