Power Brick has loose connection

My Framework Laptop 13 charger stopped working and I realized that it was not because of the USB-C power cable nor the detachable AC chord but the brick itself. The port probably has a loose connection or I've bent it somehow. Unfortunately Framework no longer sells the brick by itself and you can only buy the whole charging set, so like the brick, USB-C cable and AC chord. It's also worth mentioning that the charging set was previously out of stock for a good while. :(

@andy52295 those blocks are difficult to work on and a PITA to open. Schematics etc. are not available and repairing AC adapters is always a bit risky unless you have experience with that. This is one of those rare cases where I would recommend you replace it with something like this or similar USB-C AC Adapter.

Thanks for the explanation! I realize now there’s really no way around buying a brand-new brick, but I appreciate the insight and the AC adapter recommendation.

@andy52295 I do realize it is hard to just getting rid of things for something as "simple" as the error your adapter shows. Problem is to fix it without schematics. It is a vital part for your laptop but if the repair fails it could damage your laptop or worse, go up in flames. Just to risky to do that.
