My laptop becomes very hot when gaming

@nonelykjohny gaming is one of the most processor demanding tasks for any computer. Make sure that while you use your computer you do not occluded the air vents etc. That means do not have your laptop on any soft surfaces etc.

Now if it does still get hot, you do want to open the bottom cover and have a look at the air vents et. Clean all the dust and debris the may have accumulated with a soft brush and maybe even a few puffs of compressed air. Check the fans(s) to make sure that those are clean. If that does not resolve this either, you also want to consider to replace the thermal paste. To work on that, use the OMEN By HP 15 Laptop PC Maintenance And Service Guide and go to page 58. There you will see how to remove the heatsink. To replace the thermal paste use something like this guide HP OMEN 15-dc0030nr Thermal Paste Replacement Even so it shows a different assembly etc. the steps that are important, (8 and 9 in this guide), are the same
