Use some WD-40 or screw remover, then use a slightly larger screwdriver head and use a hammer to bang it in there. Then continue to unscrew as normal. If that doesn't work, try (carefully!) using a power drill with to drill a hole into the screw, then use the same slightly larger screw head to unscrew. Hope it works!

Yeah, these screws are microscopic; your standard screw removal techniques like what you'd use on a car aren't going to be much help here.
