Hi @gary9555
Check if the evaporator unit in the freezer compartment is iced over, reducing the efficiency of the cooling in the freezer compartment.
Here's a video that shows how to access the evaporator unit (shown below the thermostat being replaced) that may help.
If it is iced over, it may be that there's a defrost problem. This could be due to a faulty defrost heater, faulty defrost thermostat, blocked drain from the freezer compartment to the evaporator pan under the compartments or a faulty control board.
If it is not iced over, use the back of your hand to check how cold the evap unit is. IT should be icy cold so be careful when touching it that you don't stick to it.
Also check if the condenser fan (near the compressor unit) is operating (when power is connected to the refrigerator) and that the condenser coil is free from dust etc.
If everything appears to be OK and if the evap unit is not icy cold, then it could be a sealed system problem e.g. lack of refrigerant in the system or a faulty compressor. The high and low pressures in the system would need to be checked to see what the problem is.
Here's the service data sheet for the model which shows what the pressures should be.
You may need to get a professional refrigerator repair service to check the pressures, due to the environmental regulations regarding the handling of refrigerant gases. Besides which they have the correct equipment to do the work.
