KitchenAid KDPM804KPS Dishwasher
I turn the kitchen faucet to let the hot water run and sometimes the dishwasher runs a full cycle, sometimes it throws the 2-7. Replaced the control panel still 2-7 comes up.

Please confirm the error code that is shown.
According p.7 of the user manual and also the tech sheet there is no 2-7 code.
Did you mean a 7-2 code perhaps?
If so this indicates a problem with the wash motor.
If it is a 2-7 code and since you've replaced both the control board and the control panel, how far does it get in a full wash cycle before it fails and shows the code i.e. pre rinse, wash, drain, drying?
