There are two potential issues causing this issue: the battery or the charger.
The first (and easiest) thing to do is try using a different charger and cable. This may resolve the issue.
If it does not, install a battery monitoring software such as Accubattery: https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...
If the app suggests that the battery health is poor, then you will need to replace the battery
