An 18V Lithium-ion 2 Speed Drill/Driver manufactured by RIDGID in the year 2015.

How do I remove the chuck for replacement

I have removed the Phillips head screw, but all the instruction I find online, call for a torx head screw once the phillips head screw is removed. My model does not have that. is the chuck screwed on with internal threads or is it a press fit? Any help would be appreciated.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

You’ll want to open the chick all the way so you can see inside it. Once that’s done you can see what type of driver you need my dewalt uses Allen key. Now here’s the important part the threads are reversed turn right to loosen the chuck. And no you can’t use the drills own power to do that. You need to hold the base while you turn it.
