Generally lines happen when the delicate connections between the flex cable and the glass the display circuitry is printed on get disrupted or damaged. Unfortunately, those connections aren't repairable and the usual fix is to replace the screen.
It's hard to be completely sure without seeing it, so perhaps you could post a picture of your screen and the line you're seeing on it? This guide will show you how to add a photo to your question.
