i just showered with my apple watch series 6 and after that the Digital Crown scroll wheel just hasn’t worked it still spins and registers press but it just doesn’t register scrolling any solutions to this?

The Crown shaft has a bunch of facets that a LED and a set of sensors see the beam to know the direction you are moving it. Here's a deeper view Apple Watch Teardown checkout Step22.
So while this is the first version of the Watch the Crown mech is the same in yours. As you can see it's quite deep inside. Best to see if Apple offers any options, did you get Apple Care? You might be able to get a little something for exchange.
