Series x married drive replacement

Has anyone successfully replaced a married drive in a X? Mine is obviously on the way out. Works great for a while then goes down and produces code e201 0050ee80, the drive just had a fresh install OSU1 so I know this is not a software problem. If you have been successful at this what did you do and what did you use. I have access to several cloners, but have not been able to clone a drive so far.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi!

Depends. It is almost impossible to get this done. There is some encrypted data on the drive rendering it unusable when it's formatted/wiped or broken. The key is changing all the time when you are updating your Xbox Series X.

Is the original drive still working and not formatted?? If this is the case, there may be a possibility to replace the drive.

The drive just had a fresh install. Fully functional 10-15 minutes then goes down producing the code I listed above

That error points towards the OS that is failing. In your case you probably do need a new SSD. Since you didn't wiped your old drive yet, I would contact them > https://www.whitedog.co.uk/contact/

Since they already successfully replaced the SSD, I would check with them.
