What is the function of all these wires

My Google camera GJQ9T has a wire that runs between the camera and the power supply that plugs into the 120 outlet. I needed to cut the cable, now I have to repair the cut wire. From what I read the camera needs 5 volts, therefore I should need only 2 wires. Inside the cable I find 2 red wires, 1 white wire, 1 green wire, 1 wire for the shield. What is the function of all these wires, which ones should I use

Please provide a picture of the cable and the plug adapter, I fear you might need all of the wires as 2 are power and the other 2 might be data sense wires.
