Why does my TI-5660 duplicate entry

Does anyone else have the same issue where it seems the keys are extra sensitive and are duplicating my entry? I love this calculator but cannot continue using it as the duplicate entry are causing such a headache.

The spring action within the key has likely lost its spring. Not sure if you can fix that as these calculators are mostly throw away these days and no parts available other than salvage from another unit.
