Hi @darthmango !

Is this related to a softmod?

Thanks!

by

@dan0 Hi! I can't know that without knowing how it happened.

@qntin0k8pkjwtdx Can you shed some light on that for us? How did this start, and is the DS hacked?

Hi @darthmango !

Alright, fair enough haha :).

Thanks for looking into it!

hi, thank you both for responding

@darthmango, yes the DS is hacked. this is the first time that a ds that i hacked don't work so i don't really know what happend.

It worked perfectly, but just days before the black screen appeared, it took too long to start up.

Well, you're certainly in for a ride. What you have here is a Stage 1 bootloader failure. For whatever reason, the bootloader can't communicate with the NAND chip, so it throws that error code.

First off, restore a NAND backup if you can. I'd be surprised if it helped, but hey, you can't really make it any worse. ;)

I'm not really familiar enough with the DSi to offer much advice beyond that, so assuming you've tried dinoo's suggestion, your best bet is probably to ask either the Nintendo Homebrew discord or the DS(i) Mode Hacking discord. Good luck!
