Best toolkit to replace PS Portal left joystick

Hello!

I'm new to fixing, so want to make sure I get the right tools to replace my PS Portals left joystick. I have had a look at the Playstation Kit, but it looks like it's missing a screwdriver bit that's recommended in the joystick fixing instructions.

I'll be happy with any kit you recommend, and just want to make sure I get a kit that has all the required tools.

So, what's the kit I should be getting from iFixit?

The Essential Electronics Toolkit has most everything that you'd need. The only thing missing is an iOpener but only one of the Toolkits comes with one (ProTech disassembly module) but it doesn't have some of the other tools that you'd need.

You could always use a hair dryer in place of the iOpener to soften the screen adhesive

Thank you. I have an essential kit enroute to me now. Do I need an iOpener to fix a joystick on the portal? I didn't spot that.

The iOpener is only required if you wish to replace the screen.

You can get to the joysticks before this is necessary.

The joysticks are accessed before using the iOpener in Step.47 to remove the screen
