Why is my microphone not working
When I record it doesn't record my voice it records the background

Quick Fixes:
- Clean the microphone hole at the bottom of your phone - debris/dust often causes this
- Remove your case - protective cases can block the mic opening
- Restart your phone - hold Power + Volume Down for 7-10 seconds
Test which mic is faulty:
- Dial
#0#→ select "Loopback" → test both microphones - If only the top mic works, that confirms the bottom mic (used for recording) is faulty
Software fixes to try:
- Boot in Safe Mode (Power → long-press "Power off" → tap "Safe mode") - if it works here, a third-party app is the problem
- Check app permissions: Settings → Apps → [Recording App] → Permissions → Microphone
- Wipe cache partition (Power off → hold Power + Volume Up → select "Wipe cache partition")
If nothing works: The bottom microphone module likely needs replacement. This is a common hardware failure on the A20e and requires repair at a Samsung service center. The part is relatively inexpensive to replace.
