computer disconnecting from the Internet
My computer keeps disconnecting from the internet whenever it is shut off and needs to be reconnected manually.

Hi!
Is this concerning wi-fi or wired ethernet? And are you on windows 11 or windows 10? I'll be assuming wi-fi from this point on, otherwise please correct me:
- Start by ensuring that you have "connect automatically" enabled. Please see these instruction for windows 11, or these instructions for windows 10.
- If that did not work, please disconnect and forget your wi-fi connection. Please see step 3 in General Troubleshooting in these instruction for windows 11, or step 3 in General Troubleshooting in these instructions for windows 10.
- Please ensure that all your firmware, drivers, windows update and BIOS are the latest version, see your HP software or HP's product page for your specific device for drivers & firmware.
- If this has not solved the problem, please follow these instructions for resetting your network settings (this will log you our from all saved networks!).
If neither of above has solved your problem, please respond and we can see what we can do.
