Heater only half works
My heater is only throwing heat on the driver's side and cool air on the passenger side. What would cause this? 2011 Subaru outback.

Sounds like there's a problem with either the blend door, the blend door actuator or the blend door actuator operate circuit for the passenger side.
Unfortunately I can only find videos showing how to replace the actuator for single zone climate control system and presumably yours is dual zone, but at least it will give some idea as to what is involved in fixing it as most probably in dual zone systems there are two blend doors/actuators, one for each zone i.e. driver and passenger side
