How do I replace the leather headband?

So I want to replace the leather headband on it, but it looks like I have to open it up but I don't know how to. Any help will do thank!

This model has screws holding down the headband, you can loosen these a bit and then pull the ends of the headband out.

You will also need to slice open the old headband along one seam to get it off - I'm working on a guide for this. You can sew your own replacement band, or search up 'ATH-M20x headband replacement' etc. to buy one online.

Some of the replacement headbands I saw online seem to zipper on straight over the top of the old headband.

Hi Dulfo!

I checked some of the similar models (that had pictures), and most models seem to have screws holding down the clamping mechanism for the headband. See the following image:

I cannot say exactly how the headband is taken on or off, but hope this lead helps! Otherwise I'll hope that that teardown may be useful.
