Hi All

I have a very strange issue on the macbook

Issue is

Charger gets plugged in with am-meter and it shows 5V>20V and 1.5A on battery and approx 0.6A when the battery is disconnected.

PPBUS_G3H is present on F7000 on both sides and when in Ohms mode readings are expected

Nothing is shown on external monitor and caps lock key doesnt light up

You'll need to grab the schematics and board view drawings for the system to identify the parts that are getting hot. A good IR camera can make quick work of it or just drip a few drops of isopropyl alcohol onto the area, checking both sides.

Schematics can be found here & board view here.

You'll need FlexBV to view the board view file.
