I was wondering about any ideas or best methods to repair the tiny pads on this game boy color mother board. I ripped them like an idiot. Pictures are attached.

@jdub72232 yes, minor accident. Happens to all of us. Sometimes it's because we don't have enough heat and the solder is still connected, so we tear the traces. Yours look well enough to just run some wire jumpers.

Clean all of this up with some flux etc. Then tin the traces that are still present. Solder the ribbon cable connector in place. Now, for the pins where you have no solder pad, run a very thin wire from the connector to the trace that is still there. Of course, remove the green masking without destroying the trace. I use a small scalpel and definitely a magnifying source so I can see what I am doing. Then tin the exposed copper of the race and solder the jumper wire to it. Same idea as on here

@oldturkey03 with this area that seems to need two wires to go to the same pin, can one wire span both points and the connected in the middle to the pin?

@jdub72232 yes, I do not see any reason why this should not work.
