My phone screen is not working

I was in the bathtub i put my phone at the edge so i could change the water temps. Then the iPhone dropped into the water i quickly took it out. it was fine for a few hours until it started make weird glitches on the screen and it went black. do i have to wait to dry until the connector is dry and working again or i need a full screen replacement?

My best recommendation would be to open it up or get it to a repair shop where they can as soon as possible. Lots of liquid damage is very quick and until the phone is dried out you could be in for more damage.

This could be just a display but with liquid it’s hard to say if that’s the extent of the damage without getting into the phone. I have seen phones that still have liquid in them a week or more later. It’s a lot easier for liquid to get in than to evaporate out.
