Xbox One controller was introduced in 2016 with the launch of the Xbox One S and adds Bluetooth support for Windows 10/11. This controller fixes many of the design flaws found on the Model 1537/1697 controllers and is much more reliable. This controller has been replaced with the improved Model 1914 controller.

Controller has no power

My brother in-law tried to fix his controller and didnt secure/detatch the rumble motor this fell and tore the entire trace off. Im guessing he tried to solder on to nothing and ruined even more, he wouldnt tel me what he actually did.

He has passed it to me but i dont have a clue.

Would this cause a no power issue?

Any help is appreciated

Hi!

Oh my! The traces are damaged and need to be repaired. This could cause the issue yes.

You can also replace the motherboard, but this will be more expensive.

Please let me know if you need any guides!
