pc not turning on
when i turn on laptop the light on power button appears for few seconds and goes off
what could be the reason

A bad battery - remove battery, connect charger and try.
If it does the same, I suspect a MB problem. A high current drain when powering it up, would shut it down. That could be caused by anything on the MB.
Start but opening it up and removing anything plugged in, one at a time....RAM, WiFi bd, GPU bd if it has one, HDD/SDD. The CPU is also suspect, but harder to remove and reinstall, so do that last. Repower after each uninstall to see if it shuts down. If no shutdown, the last item remove is the problem.
