Passenger restraint system malfunction
Passenger restraint system malfunction comes on when I start the car. Is there a reset function? I put a code reader but no error codes are displayed on the code reader. What can I check/replace to fix this malfunction?

Passenger restraint electronics are not P type error codes. Generic readers decode only P codes, virtually all emissions related. B, C, and U codes are not decoded and require better readers; the kind dealers, repair shops, mobile techs and advanced diyers buy to read manufacturer specific codes. The passenger restraint electronics are either B or C codes. You can search for error codes generated from faults in passsenger restraint systems for a general idea. If this is airbag related, search for airbag codes.
