- Plug in an external USB keyboard – if that works, your laptop keyboard is faulty.
- Restart the laptop and uninstall/reinstall the keyboard driver from Device Manager.
- Check if Sticky Keys/Filter Keys are on in Accessibility settings – they can freeze the keyboard.
- Boot into BIOS – if keys don’t work there, it’s a hardware issue, not Windows.
- If nothing helps, you’ll need a replacement keyboard, but external ones work fine as a quick fix.
