Need help fixing/rewiring power slider.

Hello everyone. I have been trying to fix a power slider to a DS Lite and in the process, I think I took off one of the pads. More specifically pad 3. I heard that only pads 1 and 2 is all that is needed but I feel like it's misinformation. Is there a way to rewire/retrace the missing pad or am I good to just continue with the repair?

So far I know, the pads are used! So yes, you do need to fix that one!

Here the same questions (sorta) is asked: Can someone explain in detail how to fix pads being ripped off the board (ds lite)? I’m new to soldering and the power switch was broken and I tore the pads. i have adhesive copper tape now and enameled 28 AGW wire coming in the mail. Is there any way I can fix it with the copper tape now? : r/consolerepair
