The Canon PowerShot A460 is a 5.0 megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera with a 4x optical zoom.

Why is my screen white?

I need help please. Whenever I turn on my camera a white screen pops up. This screen stays there no matter what button I press and I’m unable to take pictures. Before that screen appeared I was looking at my pictures and the screen went glitchy and then the white screen appeared. I tried putting new batteries and a new memory card but the white screen continues to show. What should I do?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@america42671 this "the screen went glitchy" and the white screen, sounds like a bad display. A white screen means that the backlight still comes on but that the display itself no longer receives a signal. Check the ribbon cables etc. to make sure everything is still connected properly. After that, you most likely will need a new screen. Use these guides Canon PowerShot A460 to work on your camera.
