Game card slot broken
The pins inside of my DS Lite's game card slot are bent and broken, and I was wondering if there was a way to replace the slot?

It’s possible but requires delicate soldering and desoldering it requires a replacement card reader

Indeed, it is possible! But requires soldering which make the repair somewhat difficult. You can replace the motherboard, which is easier but more expensive...
What I advise is to replace the game card reader only when you have experience with soldering / micro soldering. If not, you can ask a local repair shop to do it for you. If this is not possible, then replace the motherboard.
