My pro controller doesn’t charge

I just replaced the battery in my pro controller thinking that it was a bad battery, it lasted for a while but when I went to change the controller it wouldn’t charge and now it only works when plugged in, what could be wrong?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi Caleb!

Okay, so when you keep it plugged in, it works all fine?

It does sound like a broken battery.. Maybe the replacement part is faulty too. I would return the battery and get yourself a new one again and see how that goes.

If the exact same issue is happening again, then you might want to check the motherboard as well.

Please let us know how it goes!

Update on my pro controller just randomly when I was using it while plugged in I noticed that it showed the battery was fully charged so I unplugged it and it worked just fine. Weird hun?

So now it is working fine?? Then it is most likely related to the battery. You can just try and use it as it is now, or replace it and see how that goes!

Yep it’s working fine now the only other problem is the left sticks pad has snapped off and the mechanism itself sticks in some positions but besides that it’s in great condition
