I need help figuring out which part I need to order. I already ordered a new power jack (https://www.ugparts.com/gigabyte-a5-k1-x...) since I'm pretty sure it was the burnt out part but now that I look at it, I might also need the board/connector as well. I'm pointing out the capacitor(?) that burned out with the screw driver.

Can you remove the board and also sent pictures from the other side?
I would just completely replace the board. Cables are usually fine (if not sure, please share some pictures with us regarding the cables).
Those board are usually for sale. You can try Gigabyte first and ask them, otherwise you can check on AliExpress.
Usually numbers should be writting on the board so you can check the part number.

I got my daughters each one of these laptops the board is poorly designed and will eventually stop working. I took inspiration from my RC hobby and created my own dc jack using EC5 male and female connectors. Since it connects to the motherboard with a cable with 8 wires it was simple enough to solder them together then add on the 12 AWG EC5 wires. Then doing the opposite on the charger as well now my kids can play on their laptops without fear of shorting out that little daughter board anymore.
