ALL modern chargers are 100-220V - 50-60Hz, so there isn't a country issue.

Many phones no longer come with a charger, therefore it is likely the charger you are using is under powered.

If the charger isn't rated to supply as much CURRENT as the phone wants, then it will max out at its rated CURRENT and overheat.
