SOLVED: Tempered glass camera lens cover - Motorola Edge 40 Pro

Tempered glass camera lens cover

I dropped my phone and the tempered glass camera lens cover cracked extensively. I went to cut away the cracked part with a diamond cutting wheel in my Dremel so I could use the camera. I ended up finding out that this glass cover is just a stick on piece with the adhesive around the perimeter of the lens cover. I was able to remove the entire cover to keep using the camera. All I need is a replacement stick on glass lens cover. Is this something I can purchase somewhere?

Options

I have three places I can generally find something like this; Amazon, eBay and AliExpress.

First I'd like to clarify about your lens. The ones I'm familiar with have a little glass circle within each of the camera lenses, surrounded by a bezel. As you've found, replacement is simple; just pry out the old glass, clean the old glue and stick a new piece of glass in.

Yours seems to be a little different. From what I can see, it looks like it's one molded piece that covers all of the cameras and flash rather than individual circles of glass. Here's a picture from an AliExpress listing for your phone that seems to show what I'm talking about.

If that's right then the associated listing should get you what you're looking for; apparently it comes in black or blue to match the back of your phone.

I will likely order from one of these vendors but I was just wondering if the original part, which is tempered glass, would be available from Motorola. It seems to me that something like this would be available. Anyway, just curious.

@rogercheros I'm not up to date on the availability of parts directly from Motorola, but my guess would be that if anything is available, it would most likely be that you would have to buy the entire rear panel. I could be wrong, though.
