Was working with power adapter

My Micro KORG synthesizer/vocoder was working with the correct power adapter then the next time I went to use it won't turn on

Hi I made a mistake I had the name wrong the unit is micro KORG synthesizer/ vocoder

Does it work OK when using 6 x AA batteries inserted into the synthesizer?

If it does it could be a faulty DC-In jack where the adapter plugs into.

If it doesn't then it could be a faulty power on switch or something further into the circuit.
