HDR CX405 tiny black screws

Does anyone out there know the type of tiny black screws that holds together Sony's HDR CX405 camcorder. I'm having trouble identifying the correct screwdriver for removing the screws from my CX405

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi @johnwoods64424

On p.48 (of 62 pdf) of the service manual it shows that the screws are an M1.7 screw and a P2 tapping screw

For the M1.7 screw a #0 (or possibly a #1) Philips head driver is needed and a Philips head #2 for the tapping screw.

@johnwoods64424 those should be M1.7 as well as a few self tapping Philips screws. Take a good clear picture of a screwhead and post with your Question. That way we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question

Just in case you need some more help with that, use the Sony HDR CX405 service manual
