Try holding the Extra Rinse button for 10 seconds and check if the beeping stops.
If it does or even if it doesn't, here's the Topload Troubleshooting guide for the washer.
Go to p.10 to view the procedure to perform the factory test procedures.
On p.16β it shows how to interpret the status LEDs to know what error may have occurred
If you find the problem and it's a faulty part that needs replacing, here's a parts list that is useful.
Locate the wanted part in the list and note the manufacturer's part number that is shown with it. Search online for the manufacturer's part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.

Will definitely give this a try,
Thank you much! Really appreciate your assistance
Joseph, I'm at a loss with regard to what you're calling "peeps". I've gone through the owners manual and I'm not seeing any indication that the washer is capable of any audio notifications; the only kind of status indications it shows consist of flashing various lights for error conditions.

Sorry meant beeps or a continuous beeping noise whether itβs operating or not
We have to unplug it for it to stop
@josephange76290 No problem, I figured it was something like that; my point was that the manual doesn't give any indication that it makes any sound whatsoever.
Thankfully Jayeff has replied, so give his answer a try.
