Ps. Vita format keeps freezing

Okay to help clarify every time I turn on my PS Vita it won't let me scroll unless I take out the memory card after, I do that I tried playing one of my games but of course, I needed to put in a memory card so after that I put in my game still wouldn't work. I go to settings click format then click format memory card then it immediately freezes after a while it just shows an error I don't know what to do. Please help

Update I went to safe mode and I select format memory card so I waited and it said no memory card is inserted

Hey,
It sounds like your memory card could be corrupted. Try turning off the Vita completely, remove the memory card, and turn it on without it. Then reinsert the card after it's fully booted and try accessing the memory card through Content Manager or Safe Mode.
