Machine not pulling shots

My Phillips ep 4321 is not pulling shot. Water seems to be going into the tray instead of shots. Steam wand works fine

I had the same issue, check the gaskets on the inside of the machine, specifically the brewing unit(looks like a nozzle with one bigger gasket, that narrows down closer to the tip with a smaller gasket). This is where it usually leaks due to a lot of pressure, that can not be held. The water doesn't go into the brew group (the plastic amusement park, mostly black with a few yellow parts) and goes right into the tray, while the milk steamer works. Lubricating the gaskets also seems to be important. The brew group also has a few gaskets, that do deteriorate. Since the machine stopped working properly after the cleaning, I would check the gaskets and lubrication of the brew group as well. Be careful if you are disassemble the brew group, keep track of the position of the spring and glass bead/ball.
