Camera is not remembering time.
I just picked up the canon powershot SX1 IS only to find whenever I turn it off, it always forgets the time and date.
Is this a good question?

Try replacing the coin cell date and time battery, in the camera.
Here's an article that shows what to do.
It's a CR1220 coin cell battery which is a fairly common type and can be found in major supermarkets etc
