My phone not charging

It could be one of three things

1. Dirt in charging port, 9 times out of 10 when i get a client saying their phone isn't charging the charge port just needs cleaned up, easiest way to do this without a proper ESD cleaning brush (which i would highly recommend getting before doing this) is get a new tooth brush and gently scrub inside the charge port trying to get to the bottom of the port, sometimes it will require a tiny bit of (at least 91%) isopropyl on the brush but i don't recommend that unless you're experienced with that kind of thing, the easiest way to tell if this is the case is if the charger wiggles when you plug it in or you had to push hard to get it to connect before this happened assuming fix #2 doesn't fit the bill when you inspect the port

2.Sub PBA/Daughterboard, this is the next most likely culprit, inspect inside the charge port to see if any pins look like they're bent over or if the tongue is damaged if it is then there's the problem even if none of those are the case it could still be the sub pba

3.Battery, this is typically the last thing i check for devices that are not charging (unless the battery is noticeably swelling) it can be a little tricky to remove the battery but with patience, a good guide, and the correct tools it can be done, just make sure you have a bag of sand or kitty litter nearby just in case the battery replacement goes south, do not use water if the battery does get punctured and starts smoking, that will only make the situation worse
